You probably have priceless pieces of history in a box or an album sitting in a closet. I am talking about old photographs and documents. These treasures are deteriorating a little more each and every day and will soon be lost for all time. These are pieces not only of your friends and family but the region you and your relatives have lived in or visited.
Digital technology has given us the ability to save these pieces of history for the future and restore damaged photographs and documents. If you have some time, a computer, a scanner, some software and a little know how you can digitally archive these treasure yourself. If not you can contract with a professional to do it for you. These treasures are as important as ancient scrolls and cave paintings but have a much shorter life time. You owe it to the future to preserve those pieces of history for the future.
I will give you both examples and some tips on these virtual pages.
